Gears 2 will also definitely make that list even if it's late in the year.
For instance I think Gears 2 will be "one of" the best games this year, and ninja gaiden 2 looks great. I just don't see what the big deal is with GTA especially don't see the big deal in some clone. I guess i'm the minority, and just don't see the appeal in being a wanna be video game thug. You're the one who always brings up the whole ps3 vs. 360 argument everytime. Very predictable.

Admitted XMB should have already been a feature, but thats a small price to pay for a console that actually works.
The dude is right on the money although their game fails in this same aspect too. 60 hell even 20 is too many people in a room. It's just totally mindless that way, and there is nothing personal about the kill. Smaller matches means you get to know your competition, and that makes killing them a million times more rewarding. Also if you have an unlimited respawn count then there is no consequences for dying. But I guess a lot of mindless people out there like mindless no strategy action.
I agree it's shouldn't be the main focus of the show, but everyone knew M$ would drop the big GoW2 confirmation so Sony really should have had a counter plan regardless. It's just smart biz.

This idea could have been done way better.
1.M$ wants to sell more systems, and free dl'able community games would have been a huge plus because most people me included would only play the games if they were free because we would rather spend our money on AAA titles. So M$ shouldn't make indie devs pay to join some club if all they're doing is help selling systems.

They should just make the XNA games free with the donation system intact with dev, and public ranking systems. If you have to pay for them, and there is no overall ranking system then it would be lame. In that case quality over quantity would be choice.
